- 3 ripe bananas mashed
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil or melted butter
- 1/4 cup non-dairy milk such as almond milk, soy milk, or oat milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vegetable oil, non-dairy milk, and vanilla extract. Stir until well combined.
In a separate mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix well.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the bread comes out clean.
Let the banana bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
Slice and serve the banana bread warm or at room temperature.
