Fluffy Vanilla Pancakes Recipe

This fluffy vanilla pancake recipe is infused with vanilla, and a rich buttery flavor that's hard to resist.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter melted or softened

Instructions

  • In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  • In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, vanilla extract, and melted butter.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix the batter.
  • Heat a nonstick skillet or griddle over medium-high heat. Use a ladle or measuring cup to pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake.
  • Cook the pancakes for 1-2 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
  • Serve the pancakes warm with your favorite toppings.
